If you experience a work-related injury, your GP can play a vital role in your rehabilitation and return to work.

Brecken Health Bunbury has a dedicated occupational health team who are here to support you through injury rehabilitation. We partner with you to create a clear management plan, that ensures you get the support and treatment you need, and help you get ready for work sooner.

We can also assist you through your workers’ compensation claim, by issuing referrals to both allied health services and WorkCover WA approved vocational rehabilitation providers.

Our comprehensive care supports you through your injury and back into the workforce, with services including:

  • Employment medicals. Whether you need to all-clear before you start back at your role, or you’re starting a new job, we provide thorough pre-employment medical checks to ensure you’re fit and ready to get back to work.
  • Work injury rehabilitation. Don’t let an injury keep you out of work for any longer than it needs to. Our team can work with you to create a treatment plan, and refer you to a specialist health practitioner to help you manage your way back into work. This includes physiotherapy, orthopaedics, musculoskeletal care, and more.
  • Immunisations and vaccinations. We provide a full range of immunisations and vaccinations to make sure you’re ready to work and protected against viruses and diseases that may occur in your occupation.
  • Mental health support. A workplace injury doesn’t just impact your body—it can also affect your mental health. We provide support and counselling to address any mental health concerns you might have, including stress management.
