We are first-line practitioners, so there is no need for a doctor’s referral.
We manage injuries sustained at work. We work closely with the doctor, employer and case manager to monitor your safe and graded return to work.
We are also the preferred providers for BUPA and Medibank and are NDIS-recognised.
Our physiotherapists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA). Also, the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).
What is lymphoedema and how can you treat it?
Lymphoedema is caused by swelling of certain body parts caused by problems with the lymphatic system. It commonly occurs as a side effect of cancer treatment where lymph nodes have been removed or damaged. For example, 1 in 5 women who survive breast cancer will develop lymphoedema.
We can effectively educate patients on self-care and complication prevention. Taping, exercise, and treatment of secondary problems (e.g., neck and shoulder pain) are also effective at managing the condition.
