Dr Janelle Jurgenson completed her Medical Degree at UWA in 2014 (MBBS hons). Since then she undertook 2 years completing an Emergency Certificate and Emergency Diploma at Joondalup Health Campus, as well as experience in the hospital wards before moving into General Practice.
After working in Albany as a GP while completing a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr Jurgenson moved back to her home town in Bunbury.
She has completed her General Practice training through the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and continues to work casually in the Bunbury Emergency Department.
Dr Jurgenson’s interests include antenatal and postnatal care, paediatrics, emergency medicine and chronic disease management. As a mother of two young children, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
